In autumn 2024, artist Peter Liversidge held a week-long Sign Painting Studio at the ¾ÅÓÎÌåÓý Library and Museum. This year, we are planning to amplify and celebrate nurses’ voices through the creation of a unique artwork, giving ¾ÅÓÎÌåÓý members the chance to paint or propose your own signs.
Join us for a range of workshops around the UK and online. The sessions will be led by Peter to guide you through the process of creating and painting your own signs.
Sign up to the art workshops here:

Peter says:
"This project is a celebration of the ¾ÅÓÎÌåÓý, taking its starting point from the rich and diverse collection at the ¾ÅÓÎÌåÓý. It offers a way to share narratives as individuals and as groups.
The project is driven by a desire to make heard a multiplicity of nursing voices, setting up situations in which important questions can be asked about what it means to be a nurse and how to belong."
